About
Lisa is a single pregnant woman who marries a man who becomes the step father of her child. The real father comes back from a trip abroad and marries another woman when he finds that the mother of his child has married someone else. Margie (the real father's new wife) gets jealous of her husband's love of Lisa and her child. Margie contrives to knock out Lisa but thinking that Lisa is dead, she locks her into the cemetery's large ossuary [bone storage room for the long dead evicted from leased graves]. While her family and police look for her, Lisa awakes up in the darkness of the ossuary and experiences the horror of slowly realizing that she has been buried alive. She dies in the ossuary where her bones and leather apron are eventually found when the bones of the dead who no longer have a grave in the cemetery are entered into the ossuary. The rest of the story covers how the police find out that Margie is reponsible for Lisa being buried alive and how Margie and her accomplices' lives are ruined by Lisa's death. It follows Inspector Santorini as he investigates disappearance and than the death of Lisa and reprimand her father for his cuel treatment of his daughter who dared to disobey him.
