Martian Romance

Alia is wrongfully accused of crimes against the state and sent off-world to the dreaded Martian Penal colonies, where she eventually bribes her way back into respectable society. Unfortunately, her attempt to marry into a prestigious Earth family is thwarted when her sordid past is revealed to her fiancée. She is sent packing back to Mars, even more bitter at the fate the universe has forced upon her. Alia's story begins a few years later when she meets the son of the man who caused her family's downfall, thus leaving her alone and destitute in a cruel world. Having vowed revenge as a child, she seduces the son to get back at his father, but realizes too late she is falling in love. She has a change of heart, but it is too little, and too late. Worse than that, she learns her past is not how she remembers it!
