Grave Danger

Maverick Dunne is a re-animater. Born during a radioactive disruption of the nuclear winter, she is genetically mutated and able to re-animate anything dead. From leather purses to corpses, everything she touches becomes organically alive. On the run from the new American government, known as 'The Company,' she meets with her middle school boyfriend, Daniel Wolfe. A captain for the Company's major opposition, The New People, Daniel desperately needs her help to find the scientist responsible for the 'zombie virus.' Sources have informed him that the technology will be used to form a new army for yet another political upheaval. Chased by murderous zombies and dealing with frightened humans, Maverick and Daniel must face their feelings for each other, once and for all. Maverick's ability to bring back life is in direct opposition to Daniel's mutated powers as a destroyer. They can never be fully together, and now locked in the life and death destruction of a broken world, they can the never be apart.
