Los Cerros is the first book in Fotô's new Editorial line, where we developed a handcrafted printing process entirely done at Editora. In Los Cerros, the landscapes are hidden in black backgrounds. Through the gaps in these densities of black on black, the evidence of what is going on parades. Seeking to discover what they show us without showing us, illusionist surfaces create tangled depths that seek the telluric. Los Cerros is the assertive attempt to make a photobook, in which the movement of photography is interwoven with other prints. Photographs are born from another way of being photography.
