About
"Kalopsia," a word meaning "the delusion of things being more beautiful than they actually are," is what happens to us when we think we've fallen in love. Almost-love Stories is a collection of four short stories that almost ended well. Love isn't the way romance novels make it seem. Happily ever after doesn't exist and love is blind, but perhaps we should open our eyes. Hannah Gordon got her first taste of writing when her mother bought her a Harry Potter diary, which she eventually lost, but it inspired in her a need to write stories more exciting than her own life. She is currently studying Communications and Creative Writing at The University of Michigan, which is better than Political Science, which she considered until her government teacher told her that was an awful idea. Among other things, Hannah is a cat lover, a cancer survivor, a gif enthusiast, and a compulsive coffee drinker. She hopes to keep writing and never work a real job, but that is an errant dream, one which her parents would surely never approve of.
