If man has produced the city for his own use, it obviously has trouble meeting his needs. Yet, man and city are only one subject. But between "The City & Man" and "Man & City" are distinguished two diametrically opposed management philosophies. For too long, the city approach has favored a formalistic production without worrying about the deep expectations of its inhabitants. Place to common sense: that of designing the city around the man. Design & urbanités explores all the avenues and offers realistic solutions that can be achieved. In addition, this book is a kind of informal call for expressions of interest for the creation of a multidisciplinary think-tank aimed initially at debating the proposals put forward and building a detailed teaching program.
