Michael's Angel

Michael thought his heart died in a plane crash that claimed the only woman he ever loved when her family left after the trial of their middle son. When he finds her years later at the apartment of her brother's mate and stops her from making the biggest mistake of her life, he makes a promise to her that he will never let her go again. Michael takes her to the only place he knows she'll be safe until he can find a way to make her see just what they are to each other and ensure her safety in the process. He now has to keep her hidden until Rafe and the rest of the League can ensure Rafe's last remaining family member isn't taken to trial and executed for her mistakes. With help of Dominic's wolf pack and one very irritating Fire Eater demon, Rafe has to keep his sister away from the Council while trying to bring the other supernatural races together to overturn the corruption of the Council that was meant to protect them. After accidentally shooting her eldest brother in the chest, Rachel finds herself locked in a house with the last vampire she ever expected to see again. Now she has to try to find a way out before Michael claims the last piece of her heart she has left intact after he turned his back on her so many years ago. When she finds out that everything she believed about Rafe was a lie, she has to help her brother and the other League stop the Council before they hurt any more innocent lives.
