Graduate Course Catalogs of Montclair State College from 1951 to 1963. Montclair State was first known as the New Jersey State Normal School at Montclair when it was founded in 1908. It became the New Jersey State Teachers College and State Normal School at Montclair in 1927. In 1929, the institution became the New Jersey State Teachers College at Montclair. In 1958, the College became Montclair State College. The College achieved university status in 1994 and became Montclair State University.
