The Order, In Which The Wind

In this short work -the story of Percival Champagne, a man who claims to be a composer, and his lover, the pianist Aletkxander Mockturtle- Constantine Sult puts forward his most hopeful investigation into the possibility of finding love in a world composed entirely of abstraction and subjectivity; in which the only lasting ideas are those consciously clung to by the individual. Another of Sult's novels of Structural Experiment, THE ORDER, IN WHICH THE WIND uses both the physical elements of the text and the impressionistic content of the narrative to evoke a world in which there exists no external point of reference; in which situations and ideas all lack beginnings, cohesive form and end.
