Additions to the revised edition of this substantial reference includes entries on significant documents from the end of the 20th century, including the Charter of Paris for a New Europe, the Maastricht treaty, the North American Free Trade Agreement, the Rio Declaration, and the Kyoto Protocol. Each entry includes a description of the document, detailing its origins, content, and impact (the text of the document itself is not included), as well as a list of sources. A timetable of documents and bibliography organized by country are provided.
