When the fuels which power our world are depleted, electrical power will be the medium via which solutions to our energy problems will be found. Now, imagine a world without electrical power. In this world, the end of the fossil fuel era signals the end of humanity as we know it. There is nothing to power the machines which feed, clothe, transport, educate, and nurture us.
