History of Sol

Raynor lay in a pool of his own blood; he tried to pinpoint exactly where it all went wrong. Everything seemed to be stacked up against him. First his friend was arrested for breaking Colony laws, and then his nemesis Swift put an Observer on board Galaxy to watch over him. Perhaps it was when Cliff informed him about the troublesome delivery he wanted Raynor to complete right after the illegal trade he would have to do for Rob... and they hadn't even left Mars yet. Since then things had only declined further; getting shot by a Mutant seemed like it would be the lowest point for him this rotation, but getting tortured by outlaws who stole what was likely to be the most valuable item in his inventory, that would probably do it. He heard footsteps, they were coming back. Maybe this time they would finish him off for good.
