Sisters and brothers

Today women and men in the Church are forced to reexamine the ways in which they work, study and pray together. As the traditional roles assigned to men and women shift in confusing ways, the Church is in need of a Biblical metaphor that will redefine appropriate relationships between the sexes in a Christian community. Jesus of Nazareth offered a radical redefinition of the Church family: "Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister." Through extensive Bible studies in each chapter, this book shows how the brother-sister metaphor can make a difference in the way modern Christians relate to one another in the Church, family and workplace.
