As the cicadas begin their summer chorus once more, the Biwa Hoshi sing songs that the Seimei twin suns have risen and a new dawn has arrived. Toya and Kagero have shown Yamato that their clan will not fade quietly into the night, yet Touma Tachibana makes a fateful decision that will change the course of the game of Go. Tadamitsu and his clan, the Sanuki, have called the island of Nankaido and the Seto Inland Sea home for centuries. As the flames of rebellion spark and the Awa Onmyoji fall, can Tadamitsu save his ancient home that has stood since the Kofun age, or will this be the Sanuki’s last round of Go? As change sweeps across the ancient land of Yamato, Kagero sets off on the Jinko trail where long-buried truths lie, while Toya brings to light his mother's long-held dreams.
