Foto de Acción Directa is a photographic record of the three months in 2021 of youth and community protests known as the "Paro Nacional" in the town of Roldanillo, (Department of Valle del Cauca in Colombia). Poet and photographer Nikai Igaido (Roldanillo, Colombia 1985), makes a photographic reconstruction of what happened during those three months. In these graphic memoirs, the gestation of the mobilization of the local population until the creation of a Popular Assembly, a peaceful process crossed by artistic activities as an element of social cohesion. The book is made up of photographs of the slogans of the demonstrators, the artistic activities. The images are accompanied by a log built with the collection of messages shared through social networks, with which they convened, informed or gave points of view and reflections forming part of that textual and ideological tide that moved during the National Strike.
