Through this autobiographical piece of writing, the author takes the reader back into childhood to remind them all how lonely being a child can be, and how hard it is to grow up. As a girl, Tera had to live through the adversity of divorce, sexual exploitation, an abusive step father, and then as she became older she continued the pattern through horrible relationships. As she became an adult she started to keep secrets of her own and live a life that she didn’t want her family a part of. Come with her down the downward spiral as she tries to make sense of life, and stop the world wind that seems to rule her actions.
