About
The book comprises the papers presented during the seminar held in 2009 centered on the relation between buildings and cities. The academic meeting was organized by the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the PUCP. The seminar examines the role of architecture "in this double journey, thinking about the building itself in its condition of container of life and the activities of human beings; and on the other side, from the perspective of the city, that conglomerate, that as Hannah Arendt said, gave us the possibility of public life giving birth to the social being."
