About
I wanted to see that EU – not a country, which I said in my book: merely organizations among member states – to make lives, economies, and rules more righteous and adequate. Since the production of my book: two member states accepted same-sex marriage: Greece, and Estonia. Today, then: there are 16 of 27 member states that will affirm two prospective EU directives: a Marriage Equality Directive and a Marriage Recognition Directive. In my book, in the European Court of Justice (ECJ): I talked repeatedly about Coman and Others v. The Inspectorate and the Ministry of Romania, EU:C:2018:385, European Court of Justice, 5 Jun., 2018. After this book – in another member state, Poland: we see another ECJ judgment in Jakub Cupriak-Trojan and Another v. Wojewoda Mazowiecki, EU:C:2025:917, European Court of Justice, 25 Nov., 2025. With Coman and Others and now, Cupriak-Trojan and Another: we are ready, even better, in EU law about same-sex marriage that was legal abroad (in Coman: in Belgium; in Cupriak-Trojan: in Germany).... Now, with the European Union: please consider and – I hope – approve two directives for the European Union. Emmett M. Hogan, Esq.
