About
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tone level and SNR on the latency and amplitude of the evoked response. In agreement with animal and human signal-in-noise experiments, we hypothesized that SNR, rather than absolute signal level, would be the key factor determining human cortical auditory evoked potential (CAEP) characteristics.
