Consequently, Lisa went through life starved for love and filled with fears. The fears led her to make decisions that were unwise, and caused her to suffer even more. This book is full of candid remembrances that detail Lisa's love, anger, rage, and near homicide. The book gives profound advice to parents as well as to abused children.
