Sonny’s return to Las Vegas proved to worth the impending danger that he was warned of. Alicia was not killed in the gun-fire and was being heavily guarded in a hospital. But not everything was good. DJ’s involvement in the case proved to be a mistake, but his conscience caused him to leave a large sum of money to Alicia’s next of kin this meant that Tanya, Alicia’s biological sister was that person. While the relationship between Sonny and Tanya took on another dimension, Maxine and RJ had some complications to work out between them. When Maxine told RJ that she was pregnant, he became outraged and wanted to have nothing to do with either her or the child. Things become more difficult for the family when Sonny returns home and Raleigh calls a family meeting to get some order in the house. Things begin to spiral out of control with RJ, and Martha knows that she is the only person who can fix the family’s problem. In the meantime, Raleigh has to face the idea of retiring and stepping down as pastor of Mt. Sinai Church. At first glance at the author’s name, you may not recognize him.
