They have been absent from our world for 500 years ... Now the gargoyles have returned. Returning from a summer archeological expedition in the Yucátan, Berkeley University professor, Adam Landis, and a group of his students stop off in a small Arizona desert town. None of them can imagine the terror that awaits. When one of the students goes missing, it leads to the discovery of a species long believed to be only myth and legend.
