No Mercy

The central theme of our joint writing has been values. One of us is a Catholic whose values are based largely on religious teachings. The other has values that are secularly grounded. But in most instances, we've found a middle ground where our thoughts coincide. We believe that the values we've written about are timeless. Issues might change from decade to decade. One political era evolves into another. But the underlying principles of right and wrong remain the same.
