About
In addition of studying the radiation use efficiency of the cotton crop, a digital imaging technique to estimate light interception by the canopy was evaluated. Ground coverage values calculated from digital images taken above the crop canopy were found to be highly correlated with light interception measurements made with a line-source quantum sensor. The digital imaging technique can be used in cotton without the limitations of the quantum sensor measurements.
