The Unbearable Tragedy of Hope

For as long as he could remember, Kevin Walls has suffered both physical and sexual abuse. It started when he was just a toddler when a step-brother began torturing him and his two older brothers. But that wasn't the end of it for the young boys. As a small child, Kevin Walls's mother dropped him and his brothers off at a park and never returned for them. From that point forward, the Walls boys were shuffled around the State of California foster care system, enduring beatings, mental abuse, and continued sexual abuse. The young Kevin's hell seemed never-ending, until he found himself at the doorstep of an older couple who had taken in dozens of foster children and still had plenty of love to give.
