JESUS: THE WORDS OF JESUS is Laurence Whelans attempt to unlock the truths contained in the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. He started by cutting the words of Jesus from each of the four gospels. He then put each passage together in chronological order, com- bining the material into one story. The author used thirty-five versions of the Bible along with ten other books by other writers on the gospels to write in his own words JESUS THE WORDS OF JESUS. He has been a seeker of truth most of his life. Laurence and his wife, Diana, of 35 years live in Ventura, California, and have three adult chil- dren and 4 grand-children. Laurence has worked in public service for 38 years. He is a Fire Battalion Chief for the County Fire Department.
