Introduced to camping in early adolescence, produced a lifetime love-affair with exploring the wonders of nature and created the everlasting—s’mores of my camping memories.
A sometimes whimsical look at one of the nation’s most fun-filled sports and sprinkled with points of (possible) interest and some helpful hints for camping mothers (single or not) which gives viable suggestions on how to actually survive meal preparation at camp. Although penned with the ‘tenters’ or ‘tent trailer’ campers in mind, those camping in the larger RV’s may well apply the suggestions for preparing camp meals to produce (more) precious R & R time.
Time proven ideas to save (Mom) meal preparation time and the time-consuming drudgery of washing all the pots, pans and dishes which meals often produce are intermixed with childhood memories of camping days.
