The Riddle of Griffon's Tide: Eona (Aberrant Book 1)

The continent of Lode was once a vast empire known as Griffon's Tide, ruled by a cruel emperor and the slavery of all people considered 'lesser.' After the empire dissolved in a revolution, it divided into many allied kingdoms. To the north grew Eona which became one of the most flourishing and beloved nations in the east under the Selbourne Family, especially current King Roland Tiberius Selbourne III. In the southern desert and arid lands came Leaguer, once a supporter of Eona but now a secretly staunch enemy under the rule of Kaan Dache the Dark. Neither nation has warred against one another since before the imperial rule, but a plan is brewing in the mind of Dache to reform the empire, destroy the other kings and secure the title of Emperor for himself to be passed down to his beloved daughter. Selbourne does not know that any danger stands before him, only that his newborn son Liam deserves a safe world to grow up in. In an effort to secure such a world, he will forge new alliances and fight any threat at his borders.
