About
This volume contains the known published poems of Canadian poet John McCrae. McCrae was a medical officer in both the Boer War and World War I and his poem "In Flanders Fields" is one of the most popular war poems ever written. The second half of the volume is an essay written by Sir Andrew Macphail, about McCrae and his verse. Included is the text of McCrae's letters to his mother from the front in 1915.
