Cave

When Marty is reunited with old friends from university, he discovers their lives are no longer as simple as they were in student days. And the arrival of the seemingly perfect newcomer, Ashley Roberts, only complicates things further. But they all have one thing in common and together the friends pursue their hobby of cave exploration.

As twisted relationships play out on the surface, Marty finds himself descending into a dark underworld: not only that of subterranean caverns and stalactites but an even more dangerous world of drugs and crime. Eventually, trapped down a cave and left to die, Marty realises that if he is to have a future he must escape, not only from the cave, but also from the guilt and secrets which tie him to the past.

Cave is a coming of age adventure, spanning twenty years of friendships and relationships. Set in Wales at the turn of the millennium.
