This is a video game analysis book, for the first three Castlevania games, Castlevania, Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, which were released on the Nintendo Entertainment System {NES}. Each of the games has screenshot maps, and pixle sprite images from the game. There is also a look at the LCD {Liquid Crystal Display}, game "Castlevania II: Simon's Quest" by Tiger Electronics, and the arcade game "Haunted Castle". This book is a companion to "GameSpite: Quarterly/Journal" series, the introduction of the book says this is in fact "GameSpite: Journal 13". The book was released in two different versions. A paperback version was released on November 1, 2012 through CreateSpace Independent Publishing ISBN: 9781511880220 {2012}, and a hardback version released on February 18, 2013, through "Blurb Inc."
