Makaila: She Who Is Like God

Makaila Marie Carleton is a child with deep emotional problems. She has as little understand of the world around her as the world around her has of her. She barely hangs on to reality, moving in the world one step at a time as if she were walking in the dark. A chance meeting with Fate and a man by the name of Alvin Percy one November afternoon launches young Makaila into a manifold series of events that not only changes her world, but the world of everyone she touches and beyond.
