We Knew They Were Coming: The Old Ones

The Old Ones, a race that was exploring the universe when life was crawling out of Earth's oceans. A race the Xoran blame for destroying their home world. Who are they, what's their impact on the galaxy? Will they side with humans against the Xora for destroying Earth? This is the story of the Old Ones and their enemy who is searching through the galaxies looking for the Old One's home system.

The Old Ones got burned when they helped young races, will they change their policy of nonintervention or help the surviving humans in the battle for their race?

The surviving humans live in deep underground cities on the moon or in hastily made cities which orbit the moon. Earth, Mars and Venus are dead hulks, broken by the rocks the Xoran major fleet threw at them. Humans want revenge, they want to see the Xoran home world destroyed in revenge. The Old Ones have lived for over ten thousand years, they don't know if they should use force to help the humans or leave them to deal with the Xoran alone. The debate is tearing their ruling council apart.

One of the races the Old Ones manipulated is searching the galaxy for the Old Ones, they want revenge on those who altered their DNA. They meet the Xora, an unlikely alliance is formed to bring the war to the Old Ones. Where does Earth stand in the up coming galactic battle? Whose side will the humans select?
