Elita - Book 1 (Elita: A Story of Troubles)

Elita and her family are Catholic, the minority in the predominantly Protestant six counties of Northern Ireland. The story is in part woven around actual events during this dark period. Catholics suffered financially, politically, and socially as a result of the imbalance; Elita’s family was no exception, and while loyal to the aspirations of the Irish Republican Army, IRA, refused to participate in their violent methods.

Elita finds herself in the middle of an IRA plot to bomb the home of a sergeant in the RUC, the Royal Ulster Constabulary, In spite of her Catholic heritage, she cannot stand by and see innocent people killed.

Elita's war-hero father, a protestant school-teacher, and an IRA commander come face to face in a terrifying confrontation, in which Elita's life is is danger.
