Environmental Geotechnics

Increasing environmental awareness has emphasised the many engineering situations in which there are potential environmental impacts (both harmful and beneficial). This book provides engineers who are (or are likely to be) involved in such projects with the information and techniques to enable them to select a course of action which is 'best practice' from both the environmental and engineering points of view.
