How to Get Tickets to a Live Author Event

Authors host ticketed live events inside their book clubs. When a club you are in (or visiting) has one coming up, a Ticketed live event banner appears above the club chat with the date, the price, and a Get a ticket button. Authors also share direct links to their event pages — following one takes you straight there.

Each event has a minimum number of tickets to run, shown as a progress bar — “12 of 20 tickets sold — runs when 20 sell”. Once the minimum is reached, the event is confirmed.

Your ticket is zero-risk: if fewer than the minimum sell by 72 hours before start, the event is cancelled and you get a full refund automatically — no need to ask.

On the event page, press Get your ticket and complete the secure Stripe checkout. You can optionally tick a box to share your email with the author for their newsletter.

Your ticket also makes you a member of the club hosting the event, so the conversation does not end when the event does.

Every ticket you buy lives at readfeed.com/my-tickets, along with its status. Once the event is confirmed, your join link appears there (and on the event page) before start time.

When the event starts, the button on My Tickets switches to Join now — live — press it and you are in. If an event is ever cancelled, the same card shows your refund on its way back to your original payment method.
